2019 Custom Explorer Vessel Conversion
The Atlantis has been a part of a fleet for over 10 years, and she has served very well as a ship and oil platform supply vessel. However, the owner has upgraded to newer workboats, and it’s time to relinquish this very capable vessel to a new owner.
The parts of the vessel that are in disrepair are the same parts that are typically
renewed / replaced when performing an expedition yacht conversion. Therefore,
rather than scrap her, the owner has decided to offer her at a very good price as a
candidate for conversion.
Pier 77, located at the same harbor on Galveston Island as the vessel, is a yacht
retrofit and repair company with a travel lift, floating steel drydock, and a graving
dock. The new owner may elect to purchase the vessel as-is and tow to a yard of
their choosing for conversion, or the new owner may elect to perform the
conversion at the Pier 77 yard.
Detailed specifications can be provided upon request.
