Marine Technician
Chesapeake Nautical Cruises, LLC
Position Summary: Responsible for a full range of rough and finished repair work; inspects completed work for conformance with specifications, and complies with appropriate safety codes and regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
- Ability to assess, diagnose and repair outboard
inboard/outboard and/or diesel engines - Ability to spring commission and winterize boats of all brands
- Problem solving and willingness to tackle any task
independently and efficiently - Ability to perform routine general and mechanical maintenance
- Complete maintenance and repairs to boat mechanical and
electrical systems - Ability to prepare estimates including time and materials
needed to complete a job
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License with own transportation and hand tools
- Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Attention to detail and deadlines
- Good time management
- The Ideal Candidate will have at least 2 years experience with
gasoline outboard, inboard/outboard, diesel engines and drive systems
Salary: Full-time hourly position pays competitively based on work experience.
